How to Use Your Daily Room Log

List Style Instructions

Write the Room name, Location, and Date at the top of each sheet.
Write the Provider and MA names for the day.
Fill in product names, lot numbers, and expiration dates across the 8 product columns at the top.
Write your opening unit count for each product in the START COUNT row.
If you transfer product INTO this room during the day, write the units in the TRANSFER IN row.
If you transfer product OUT to another room, write the units in the TRANSFER OUT row.
For each patient treatment, write one line in the USAGE LOG: patient initials, units used, product name, and lot number.
At the end of the day, physically count every product in the room and write the actual count in the EOD COUNT row.

Tips

Use one sheet per room, per day.
Keep handwriting clear and within the cells for best scan results.
If you run out of rows, start a second sheet and mark it Page 2.
Start and EOD counts are the most important fields — they let Stcki detect variances automatically.
